The truth is that I haven't thought about if I will study when I finish the university, so to write the blog I researched in the web pages of the university and INAP where the postgraduate students of public administration do. I met a magister in government and public management, it deals with the development of managerial competencies, techniques and policies to be able to be of the high public direction, also to understand the objective of the State and Public Service. There were also interesting diplomas such as "diversity, gender and public policies", which deals with migration, sexual diversities and indigenous peoples, the relationship with the State and public policies. Also the diploma course on "Environment and Territorial Planning". They teach about the basic concepts of the environment, the phenomenon of climate change and how it relates to public administration. I never liked the idea of working every day in a boring office.   But studying public administration is my probable future.   I've always wanted to work in something related to nature or outdoors, so when I finish studying I'll look for a job where I can do If I didn't have to have money to live, I'd work as a scout all the time, because it's relaxing, and it's fun to work with kids.     I hope that in my future work, I can relate to people and help them from the public service, for example in a municipality, but what I would like more is that it is outside Santiago.    I wouldn't like to work in Santiago because it's stressful, people are always in a bad mood, there are a lot of buildings and since I was little I've wanted to go and live in another region. I'm afraid to think that the future and work will be very soon, I think I'm not prepared; I don't have a plan on what I want to do. But I have a plan C, if ...

Between winter and summer, I like summer because the sun rises and I've never liked being cold and warm. Also in the summer are the longest holidays, where with my family and friends we leave Santiago and I go camping scout! I most like to do in the summer is definitely to go out, there are always many panoramas outdoors and the weather is always ideal for many activities. It's also the season where I see my friends the most because we don't have to study for university. I also like about summer is that it is the season for my favorite fruits, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries, I like to eat them for breakfast and dessert; I also like to eat ice cream all day. But above all I am a fan of the “palmeritas” on the beach, there is nothing richer than after bathing in the sea, eating a “palmeritas” harassed in the sand. The best vacation I've ever had was in Chaihuin, which is in Valdivia, the last time I went was in 2016 with my parents, in the summer. I was little I loved to go on vacation there, because it is beautiful, and has forests, beaches, rivers and wetlands, which produces a very nice landscape! I like most about Chaihuin is that we don't have a phone signal, so we disconnect from technology and share as a family and with nature. The activities that we liked to do the most were kayaking on the river, trekking to the forest and going to the beach! To get there we traveled by car for 14 hours, and we could make many stops to get to know, one of them was when we stopped in Temuco to visit my ucle, who took us on a tour of the city. Then when we arrived to Valdivia we went to eat pulmay, then we took a transfer to Corrar, from there are 30 minutes to Chaihuin. It's a really long trip but it's worth it!

My name is Cattalina Valdés, I was born on April 24, 1999 and I am 20 years old. I have lived all my life in the commune of Cerrillos in the Metropolitan Region. In my house lives my mother and my dog "guatona" with which I spend most of the time, is like a sister to me, and although it is large passes inside the house and even sleeps with me, which is sometimes very annoying because it is heavy!  I am also a scout since I am 11 years old, now I am a guide for girls between 11 and 15 years old which makes me very happy, because I can educate and teach them our lifestyle, connect with nature and be better people.

 My favorite writer is John Ronald Reuel Tolkien or better known as JRR Tolkien, was born on January 3, 1892 in Africa and died on November 29, 1971 at the age of 82. He was a writer, poet, linguist, teacher and even a member of the British army in the First World War. He is also known for belonging to a literary group called Inklings along with C.S Lewis. His writing is mainly fantasy and therefore my favorite book is "El Silmarillon", which is a collection of works edited by his son Christopher Tolkien, tell the story of how the universe of Middle Earth is created, from the creation of the gods, the cities, where they develop the other famous texts that this author has, such as "El hobbit" and "El señor de los anillos". I like this author mainly because I am amazed at the fantastic world that I manage to create, full of details, where he shows culture, war, characters, even language, and that also has a continuation in the stories.
