My Autobiography: Who am I?

My name is Cattalina Valdés, I was born on April 24, 1999 and I am 20 years old. I have lived all my life in the commune of Cerrillos in the Metropolitan Region. In my house lives my mother and my dog "guatona" with which I spend most of the time, is like a sister to me, and although it is large passes inside the house and even sleeps with me, which is sometimes very annoying because it is heavy! 

 I am also a scout since I am 11 years old, now I am a guide for girls between 11 and 15 years old which makes me very happy, because I can educate and teach them our lifestyle, connect with nature and be better people.

My experience with writing the blogs for the English course, was a combination of positive and negative things, first I liked to read the blogs of my classmates, I laughed at them, and enjoyed each of their stories, then came the most difficult thing, having to write mine, it took me a long time to think about what to put, then I wrote it and had to translate it, I hope I was not the only one but it cost me a lot, I had never had to write so much in another language, the good thing is that it helped me to know more vocabulary. Although the most negative aspect that I had writing the blogs is that I am bad at doing individual tasks in the house!, I always forget them, I have to write them down everywhere or ask my friends to remember them, so several times I happen to remember late what I had to do and I had to think fast. But in spite of everything I am grateful to have been able to be evaluated this way because it is a creative way to learn, thank you Teacher!

post graduate studies

The truth is that I haven't thought about if I will study when I finish the university, so to write the blog I researched in the web pages of the university and INAP where the postgraduate students of public administration do. I met a magister in government and public management, it deals with the development of managerial competencies, techniques and policies to be able to be of the high public direction, also to understand the objective of the State and Public Service. There were also interesting diplomas such as "diversity, gender and public policies", which deals with migration, sexual diversities and indigenous peoples, the relationship with the State and public policies. Also the diploma course on "Environment and Territorial Planning". They teach about the basic concepts of the environment, the phenomenon of climate change and how it relates to public administration. Why did I choose to study Public Administration?

At first I was very indecisive because I was interested in studying something related to the environment as Engineering in Renewable Natural Resources but I am not so good in the natural sciences, so I decided to look for a career that in the future would allow me to work in some related area and where I thought it would be good. When I arrived at the end of the fourth half I decided to study public administration because I felt that it would make me happy in the future and also be able to contribute to society from the public sector, since I consider it is very important to work to build a better future and as a good scout I think I should leave the world better as I found it. So I'm very happy to be able to study this beautiful career.
